I found the staff to be professional and friendly. I enjoyed the food options. the room size allowed relaxation with a sofa and tv. it was great after coastal walks. the hotel also welcomed dogs.
The food order took over 40 minutes. The restaurant was not full. my croque monsieur was dry and overcooked. when i queried it, staff said it was how it should be. That explanation was unsatisfactory.

Really good Stay

fine designlive musiccute staff
The hotel boasts fine interior design. A great interior designer clearly worked on this place. I stayed for three nights in a Classic Room. I found the restaurant had live music which accompanied dinner, and it was appropriate. The staff were very cute.
The reception staff's manner was quite rude. I found this out during check-in.

the staff was attentive and addressed all our needs promptly. i found the shortbread biscuits in the room a good touch. the happy hour provided great value, and i particularly enjoyed the cocktails. we appreciated the parking available at the hotel (it made arrival and departure much smoother).
i noticed the room keys were left unattended at reception. this raised concerns about security.

Wonderful Room and Friendly Staff

copper bathcomfy bedfriendly staffmissing starter
Craas Nest was a beautiful room with a copper bath. It also included a huge comfy bed and a great shower (I had great sleep). The staff was wonderful and friendly, particularly Cameron and Chloe in the bar. I really appreciate that.
We went for Sunday lunch in October 2023 and one of our starters failed to arrive. We had to ask for it again, after a long wait. It made the start of our meal a little less enjoyable.
Service
9/10
The staff members were very welcoming and efficient, making our stay very smooth. Particularly Cameron and Chloe stood out with their friendly attitude in the bar area, always ready to assist.
Rooms
9/10
Our Classic Room offered seaside features plus a bar of chocolate and shortbread upon arrival. The bed was large and very comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring.
Facilities
9/10
Breakfast featured excellent high-quality produce, offering a great start to the day. The hotel has good car parking available, a valuable asset because of the location, and the bar area was very nice.
